'Whistle Down the Wind' will soon be here!

Rehearsals are in full flow for our production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Whistle Down the Wind'. It's a dream come true for us to be able to produce this amazing show. Many of you will have seen the old Yorkshire- based, black and white film with Haley Mills and Alan Bates.

Lloyd Webber's version sees us transported to the American Deep South where an escaped convict is on the run. 'The Man' hides out in a barn where the local children find him and believe him to be Jesus. They keep him their secret, hidden away from the adults of the town who are baying for his blood as they believe it's best to be rid of the murderer on the loose.

What's really special about this show is that we're joined by a group of really talented children who simply belong on stage and they work so hard and so professionally to make sure their performances really are top notch.

Brat is played by Lia Challoner
Poor Baby is played by Sam Scott
